1990 Honda Accord Ex – The fourth-generation Accord was unveiled in 1989 as a 1990 model year and, according to MotorWeek, it managed to really stand out despite belonging to a very competitive segment. Unlike its predecessor, the 1990 Accord was bigger, both inside and out, and featured a new engine, excellent fit and finish and the most comfortable ride in its class. Of course, that meant that it didn’t feel very sporty, but the typical Accord buyer certainly didn’t mind. The 2.2-liter engine, good for 130 HP (132 PS) and 142 lb-ft (192 Nm) of torque, was a little more potent in this EX model compared to DX and LX spec Accords. In fact, it featured 5 extra horsepower courtesy of a different exhaust manifold design, larger exhaust piping and a twin outlet muffler.

Since our dealership was formed in 2005, there has always been a few facts that have remained constant. One fact is that Jeep Wranglers and Honda Accords that have been well maintained always hold their value and resell quickly. Wranglers just have a universal appeal but the Accord is sporty, comfortable, easy to work on, gets great gas mileage, and most importantly… affordable. This Accord EX is probably the nicest you are going to find and has amazingly seen under 56k miles in the last 32 years. The rims and a few small sections of the front door panels show their age a little but the rest of the Honda is in excellent condition.  Features and options include; 4 Cylinder, Auto, A/C, Cruise Control, Chrome Grill, Cloth Floormats, Owners Manual, Power Steering/Brakes, Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors, Rear Window Defrost, Sunroof, Pioneer AM/FM/CD, Tilt Steering, Tinted Windows, Tire Tools, Spare Tire, 15″ Factory Alloy Wheels, and thick Sumitomo Tires! Don’t forget that a 1990 qualifies as a “classic” in all 50 states so you also get to enjoy the benefits of cheaper inspections, registration, and insurance. $11k is cheap for a reliable vehicle these days and financing is available. Don’t let this one slip away!
